Hi there,
I am a graphic design graduate from the beautiful school of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, now back in my lovely hometown of Folsom, Ca. In my free time back home I love to go hiking with my dogs, hang out on Folsom Lake, draw and paint, and work on new recipes for my food blog! While living in SLO I loved taking advantage of all the beautiful wineries the town has, breathtaking views from various hikes, as well as finding the best bakeries around town for a good slice of cake.
Art has truly always been a passion of mine. I’ve been obsessed with drawing since I was three, and still love to draw and paint in my free time. Turning people’s favorite photos into a work of art is what I personally find to be the most satisfying work—both colored pencil/acrylic paint portraits, as well as digital drawings. In the recent months since graduation, this “free time” work has inspired me to add personalized drawings to some professional projects as well, which I’ve found clients and the public greatly appreciate.
While in college, I realized I also share a passion for graphic design, specifically magazine/book design. There’s just something so satisfying about organizing photos and text to be aesthetically pleasing on a page(s). Achieving a design that draws someone in and makes them want to keep turning is what I strive for.
I cannot wait to see where this love for drawing and design takes me.
